The Nadcap Heat Treating Task Group has undertaken the review and revision of AC7102/S- Nadcap Supplemental Audit Criteria for Heat Treating. 

 

As a result, AC7102/S Revision A has been revised, balloted, and approved by the Heat Treating Task Group, with final approval by Nadcap Management Council. 

 

In addition, new checklist AC7102/5 - Baseline Nadcap Audit Criteria for Hardness Testing for Heat Treating will also be released, replacing AC7101/5 Revision B - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Materials Testing Laboratories - Hardness. 

 

This notification serves as the announcement of the revision of these checklists and to announce September 29, 2008 as the effective date for the use of these checklists.
 
The release date of the checklists is July 1, 2008.  PRI provides a 90 day notification of the revision to any checklist, prior to its use in Nadcap audits.  Thus, all Nadcap Heat Treating audits beginning on or after September 29, 2008 shall be conducted using the revised checklists. The checklists will be available for download on www.eAuditNet.com using the "Checklists" application on July 1, 2008.
