Industry representatives recognized for their commitment to Nadcap

At the Awards Ceremony that took place during the Nadcap meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, USA in July 2008, several individuals were recognized for their commitment to Nadcap:
John Sattler of Hawker Beechcraft Corp. John is the outgoing Fasteners Task Group Chairperson.
David Watson of Bombardier Inc. David is the outgoing Composites Task Group Chairperson.
Debra Harrison of DCMA, who is an outgoing Nadcap Management Council member.
Two prime organizations were also awarded their NUCAP approval certificates at the Nadcap meeting:
Aircelle (SAFRAN Group) accepted by Francois Dagnias.
Messier-Bugatti (SAFRAN Group) accepted by Veronique Marcel.

The Nadcap mission is to provide international, unbiased, independent manufacturing process and product assessments and certification services for the purpose of adding value, reducing total cost, and facilitating relationships between primes and suppliers. Nadcap currently conducts nearly 4,000 audits worldwide each year and works with Industry and government representatives to develop audit and accreditation criteria.

Nadcap Users Compliance and Audit Program (NUCAP) provides Nadcap Users a uniform method for certification of captive special processes in accordance with industry standards and requirements. NUCAP Approval indicates Nadcap compliance (and not an accreditation by Nadcap) which may be accepted by Nadcap User Members as equivalent to Nadcap Accreditation.
